Here’s an old photo of Alex Blanco that I took back when we filmed the “iMiNUSD Rides SF 2012” video. Jeff Dempler is in the foreground filming Blanco throwing a bar over the ledge and into the bank below. I saw a teaser for a Spike edit he’s been working on, can’t wait to see the finished part.
Daniel Torres just posted this photo of our boy Jeff Dempler piecing together his glide cam, and getting ready to film out here on the West Coast. I’m always stoked to see the homies catching clips and filming, can’t wait to see what they’ve been working on.
Here’s a photo of Jeff Dempler back when he first got on Destroy Bikes. Everytime we roll to his house, we hit this oversized curb cut along the way. Commuter tricks are the best part of riding Fixed Freestyle. Busting moves on the go helps keep things interesting, especially if you find yourself riding the same routes everyday.
Here’s an edit that Jeff & I filmed in the hour we spent riding at the local school in our neighborhood. All shot on location in Gilroy California moments before we ate our Thanksgiving dinners. I did a little introduction in the beginning, so I wouldn’t to spend the time writing up a post that nobody is going to read anyways. Sit back and enjoy this dual edit of the current Wheel Talk Team, Jeff and I.
Our boy Jeff Dempler won the best trick contest with this perfectly executed Gap to Feeble 180 down the hubba. This is arguably the cleanest trick I’ve ever seen him do, which is probably why he walked away w/ the win. Big thanks to BHSK for putting together this animated gif of it, head over to iMiNUSD to check out more.
Bomb Hills Speed Kills was at the event getting photo coverage of both days of competition. Here’s a shot that he took of Jeff Dempler from up in the judges booth. I feel like this was the 1st time I rode w/ Jeff in a while. Need to get him up in the city more often. Head over to Bomb Hills Speed Kills to check out more of the action.
IMINUSD posted this photo of the 4 of us at the 2012 AFC UPROAR at the SF Bike Expo on Sunday. The couse this year was real solid, and for the 1st time they didn’t have us tucked away in the back of the Expo. I think everyone can agree when I say that the best part about these events is getting together to ride with all the homies. Read more to check out the final standings (more…)
Jason Finn from Pedal Consumption met up w/ Jeff Dempler at interbike this year, and did an exclusive interview w/ the man of steel himself. Check it out HERE Stoked to see so much content coming from Jeff.
Jeff Dempler says a fond farewell to Specialized as he makes the leap to join another bike team that is TBA. This is his final edit riding the bike we’ve been such a huge part of for the last 2 years. I can’t wait to see what he does from here.
Jeff Dempler sent me this shot of him riding at the school down the street from the neighborhood we grew up in. There’s nothing more nostalgic than coming back to a spot where you learned how to ride. It immediately takes me back to a more simple time, when all you needed was a basketball court or empty parking lot to have a good time. It’s good to see photos of Jeff still crushing it.
