Here’s a shot of Jeff Dempler riding in his current hometown of San Jose California. Nothing rocks my wrists like tucking off huge stair sets and drops, which is why I rarely ever do so. Jeff seems to have no problem throwing himself off this 8 stair at SJSU. I’m digging the look of that golden frame he’s been riding.
For the past 3 weekends I’ve been surfing Jeff Dempler’s couch while we catch clips and pictures with the rest of the guys in San Jose. It’s not the most comfy couch on the planet, but it’s a hell of a lot better than sleeping on the floor. Here’s a photo of him hitting an icepick stall on a ledge at San Jose State. I took this photo of JeffyD sporting his Summer 2012 RIDE T-Shirt while I was in San Jose yesterday. I spent the weekend down there riding w/ Jeff, Mike, Ed, combs and whoever else wanted to session w/ us. I’ll probably be spending more weekends down there now that Ed + Jeff live together, and have mad couch space.
Jeff Dempler missed last year’s Ride + Style because he was at bike school in PDX. Which is why I was stoked when he got an invite to ride in it this year. Jeff has been pushing pedals for as long as I can remember, and was a really big influence to my riding when we 1st got into fixed. I love looking at different rider’s trick faces, JeffyD always has his tongue sticking out.
John Watson recently released a collection of photos that he took at the 2nd annual Red Bull Ride + Style. This one is by far my favorite out of the set, and shows cases what these events are all about. Bringing together riders + friends from all over the world to spend the day doing what we do best. Riding bikes & hanging out.
Caught this flick of Jeff Dempler stuffing a foot jam up on the curb, while we were all mobbing around in San Jose last weekend. He just made the move to SJ as well, making it the leading place to live if you’re into Fixed Freestyle.
Here’s a great photo of Jeff Dempler throwing a bar spin off of one of the ledges at Pier 7, one of San Francisco’s most famous skate spot. The moment after sticking this bar spin Jeff popped his shoulder out of place, and wasn’t able to ride for the rest of the night. Quite unfortunate considering he landed the trick like butter.
Here’s a bunch of clips I’ve had stacked up of JeffyD over the past few months. One thing is for sure he kills it riding dirt, and looks stupid comfy floating through the air. I think this video & it’s thumbnail are proof of that. Most of this was filmed in between injuries. Peep out JeffyD, the million dollar man riding strapped w/ a shoulder brace, back tape, & an ankle support during the filming of most of these clips. #beastmode
