Here’s some leftover munchies from 2012 for your eyes to feast on. I cut together a stack of riding clips that didn’t quite make the first cut. Most of this footage was shot during the time we spent filming for SHREDWELL2. I have a bunch of shit lined up and waiting to drop, so be on the look out for more coming out this month.

Shredwell2 is by far the biggest video project I’ve ever undergone. The amount of footage that we had to sift through, and chop together, would not have been possible without the help of my good friend Mike T Schmitt. Here’s a taste of the fruits of our labor.

Here’s an edit that Jeff & I filmed in the hour we spent riding at the local school in our neighborhood. All shot on location in Gilroy California moments before we ate our Thanksgiving dinners. I did a little introduction in the beginning, so I wouldn’t to spend the time writing up a post that nobody is going to read anyways. I’m currently in the process of uploading a video that Jeff Dempler and I put together while we were back home for Thanksgiving. The school down the street from our house (Luigi Aprea) is one of my favorite places to ride. I’m not sure if the Xup in the bottom photo is clicked or not, what do you think?
Jeff Dempler says a fond farewell to Specialized as he makes the leap to join another bike team that is TBA. This is his final edit riding the bike we’ve been such a huge part of for the last 2 years. I can’t wait to see what he does from here.
Just started filming for a new web edit. I don’t have as much time to ride during the work week, so I’ll be filming mostly on the weekends. Lemme know if you’re in the city, and want to meet up to ride. I took this photo through the fire, while we were BBQing in the park the other day. There’s nothing like grilling up some burgers and dogs w/ the homies on a hot Summer’s day.
Here’s a shot of young Jonah Kessel riding one of the benches out front of iMiNUSD in down town San Jose. He picked up bench stalls earlier that day and stuck a couple for the camera just as the sun was going down. Looking good in that Wheel Talk Tee.
Last night I had a chance to sit down and interview the man who got me into riding fixed gear, and taught me the basics. Colin, aka “Gonzo” has been a good friend of mine for a few years now, and is the one person who inspired me to ride the most. I caught this photo of him sliding a Luc-e grind on this steep downhill ledge in SF. (more…)
