SADIO VIPER RIMS

Here’s a look at Jonah Kessel’s fresh set of SADIO Viper Rims (32mm). I took this while he was staying in San Francisco last weekend to spend some time filming with me. I love rims that are drilled offset and have eyelets for added strength. The last thing I want is spokes pulling through, and volcanoing the rim.

WHEEL TALK STICKERS

I recently had a bunch of Wheel Talk Stickers made to slap around, hand out, and sell online. The image above is just of the sticker backings check out more photos HERE. Head over to our webstore to pick up some Stickers (3 for $2) and Shirts ($20 a pop). Enter the discount code “REALTALK” to get an additional 15% off all shirts.

RESIST | STEEL SPROCKET

I took this picture of Jakob Santos’ prototype Resist sprocket the last day of our trip down south. I’m digging the overall look and design of this new sprocket, finally some originality. It seems like more and more companies are beginning to drop aluminum and build solid 1-piece steel sprockets. As apposed to using high grade aluminum (7075) w/ a steel insert, which can develop play overtime. Steel is real.

BALHOGS | GRIP STRIP

Mike has been rocking the BalHogs grip strip on his down tube for quite a while now, and he’s been utilizing it to come up with some rather unique maneuvers. Mainly for mobbing down hill with his feet off the pedals and ass tucked behind the seat. Hanging so far back off the bike. Head over to the BalHogs webstore and pick one up while they’re still around, I know I can’t wait to slap one on my whip.

SADIO | 420 BARS

I recently just switched out my Hot Bars for a pair of the SADIO 420 Bars to test em’ out and see how they feel. I’ve only been running them for less than a week, but I can already tell I’m going to like the extra rise, and length. Check out more below. (more…)

GRIME PROTOTYPE BARS

Here’s a sneak peek at a little something the guys over at GRIME have cooking up. I don’t want to say too much just yet. I’ll leave it to them to fill you in with the details. But from what I’ve seen they look solid, and they feel great. Bar height seems to continue to rise, and I don’t know where it’ll end up. What do yo think, how high is too high?

M.T.S | ROCKY STEM

SADIO has had a Mike T Schmitt signature “Rocky” top load stem in the works a while now. Here’s a photo I took of Mike’s Rocky the other day. Still no word on when they’ll be available, but I can’t wait to get my hands on one.

MATT RICE’S PFIX

Pulled this photo of Matt Rice’s PFIX build from his Flickr. This is definitely the cleanest PFIX build I’ve seen yet, especially considering it’s a Size : Large frame. Super fresh w/ those gum wall tires, and silver chain. For those of you who don’t know, Matt Rice runs Deal With It SF. He rides blades, Fixed Freestyle, and holds it down mad well w/ a Kendama. Head over to his blog and check his shit out.
