Stills to match the motion. I’m about to add a few finishing touches to the video I shot with Jiwoo Kim while he was in San Francisco a week ago and figured I’d post some of the photos we caught while filming. It was great having Jiwoo in town to break up the day and give me the motivation I needed to get out and film something. Jiwoo Kim came to San Francisco last week and spent some time riding, filming, and shooting photos with us while he was here. He spent nearly a week with us before hopping on a bus and heading to Southern California to ride with some of the other FGFS dudes in California. I just finished cutting together the footage we shot and am gearing up to release it later tonight. JongWon Lee is the ENDFGFS photographer in Korea, and will be living in San Francisco for the next couple months while he goes to language school. He’s only been here for a couple of weeks and it’s already been great having another homie to ride with. Scroll through to check out a handful of photos from our last two weekends rolling around town.
“Turn your bike sideways and do whatever the hell you want” were the only words I said when shooting these photos. I wish I could have captured a profile photo of everyone who came out the the Prickly Pear Jam in Arizona, but I only walked away with portraits of these 8 during the 3 days we were there. Scroll through and take a look at some all too familiar faces. After that, this concludes my photo coverage of both the jam and my brief stay to the land of the sun, or better put “A sunny place for shady people”. Who knows where the next jam will lead us.
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. Those words couldn’t be more true as the 2016 Prickly Pear Jam in Arizona comes to a close. Huge shout out to everyone who showed up and an ever louder applause to Mike Schmitt for bringing everyone together. I’m looking forward to seeing where the next jam like this is going to take place. Day One and we’re already sun burnt. Everyone is beginning to trickle in for the Prickly Pear Jam Saturday. It’s been 100+ degrees each day we’ve been here and I’m already in the market for an endless amount of sun screen, a bigger hat, and a sweat towel. We’ve wasted no time in getting broken off and feeling like death at the end of the day. Check out a bunch photos from the first day of our trip here in Arizona and be on the look out for more photos rolling out in the next couple of days.

I’ve never surfed the ocean, but I have surfed a ton of couches in my day. Our good friend Leaf Chang did us one better and set Mike Schmitt & I up on an actual bed during the time we spent in New York last year. For those who don’t already know, Leaf designs most of the graphics for G.O.A.T, which has gotten a huge breath of life over the last few months during the release of their first track bike. I’m stoked to see how much hype they’ve created in the community with this project and can’t wait to see where they take it from here. Check out more photos below.

With only one day left in town, Massan Fluker and I linked up in the Tenderloin to cut loose and shoot some footage before he hopped on a plane back to NYC. We only had a couple hours of daylight left, but it didn’t take much. After a handful of runs down through the neighborhood, we had more than enough to cut together a little something from our afternoon. The homie Matt Pittman from “Create Folly” happened to be in town and cruised by to shoot these photos. For those of you who don’t already know, Mike T. Schmitt recently moved to the Grand Canyon State to live and ride in Tempe Arizona. A week before he made the journey out there, we linked up on our lunch break and grabbed a bite to eat. After chowing down on a couple burritos, I pulled out the camera and shot these two photos.
