I recently got a pair of Medicine Man Bars from Grime Bikes. The new bars have a touch more back sweep, which helps w/ those hard impacts. The relaxed feel of the bars makes for a more comfortable ride, and more forgiving landings. Your wrists will thank you later, when they aren’t being broken off from tricks.
Mike Schmitt just recently got his bike back from Puerto Rico after leaving it there for 4 months while he was in recovery. He was out for a while, but is now back in full effect and rides around the city with me. We’ve been filming a ton and plan to drop a little something when the time is right. Read more below to check out the full spec list. (more…)
Here’s a photo that I took of Devon Lawson posted up next to his Grime Ghost while we were catching some broll for his welcome to the Wheel Talk Team video. I don’t know what we should film for next, but after watching Southern Safari I want to go on another trip sometime real soon.
This Saturday we’re premiering Shredwell2 in San Jose at iMiNUSD. We’re going to have a street session before hand while Ed Wonka is in town. We plan to meet up at CCP around 3pm and then roll around from spot to spot before we head to IMD for the screening around 7pm. Bring your bike, your buds, and we’ll see you there.
Here’s a photo that I took of Mike Schmitt posted up next to his freshly built Grime Ghost while we were on tour in Seattle. I feel like white bikes went out of style a couple years ago, as everybody veered away from matching color schemes and murdered out their ride w/ shades of black + chrome. Real stoked to see that The Grime is getting all Tony Montana w/ it, and brining back the white bike.
Here’s a 2nd look at Devon Lawson’s Grime Ghost build. He’s been riding it for nearly a week now, but you’d never be able to tell because he looks as comfortable as ever on the bike. I can’t wait to see the rest of The Grime rollin’ around on these beasts. Head over to iMiNUSD to place a pre-order, and secure yourself one of these steeds.
I’m sure most of you have already seen pictures of the new Frame from The Grime floating around the internet. Here’s a photo that I took of Devon Lawson‘s Ghost build while he stayed at my pad in SF over the weekend. I had the chance to ride around on it for a bit, and decided it doesn’t feel much different from the G.O.A.T. Other than the fact that the seat + top tube are a lot more out of the way. I’ll have additional photos of the bike up by tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled for those. SIZE | MEDIUM
San Jose local, Devon Lawson has been riding on Grime Bikes for a minute now, and this this edit publicly solidifies that. Stoked to see some top notch riding from more underground riders. Devon just recently got into the Freestyle game 6+ months ago, and since then has progressed in a phenomenal rate. Can’t wait to see more from him.
