It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been a year since we stepped foot in China and were riding around the streets of Beijing. For those who don’t already know, Jaoa Danaikrit recently tied the knot and got married in Thailand last month. He is one of the few people that has been with me on nearly every trip overseas and I couldn’t have found a better friend to share those good times with. Here are a bunch of 35mm photos I took of him while we got loose and sweated it out in China. Finding food was easy out there, the streets were literally lined with people serving grub everywhere you went. We balled on a budget and we ended up buying breakfast, lunch and dinner all at the same place because of their bible of a menu. We rode passed Tiananmen Square a couple different times and admired the enormous portrait of Mao’s face cemented to the wall. If you want to feel grateful for your basic human rights, then take a trip to China, a change of perspective is good every once and a while. The final two photos at the bottom of this post are the last time I saw Jaoa before he flew back home. I never forget this trip and I’ll see you real soon my dude.
