SCREEN SHOTS | LAZY SUNDAY

Yesterday a bunch of guys from Stockton & San Jose got together to ride some of the of San Francisco’s famous street spots. We rode the ledges under the freeway, then made our way to 3rd & Army to ride until the sun went down. It’s been a while since I’ve ridden w/ a large group of riders like that. I can’t wait until it’s light out past 8pm, getting tired of the sun going down so early.

SCREEN SHOTS | SF STREET

Here’s some screen shots I grabbed off of the footage we got the weekend of the SF Bike Expo. I had most of the iMiNUSD Team crashing out in my living room for the weekend, while we went to the All Fixed Comp and shredded the streets of San Francisco. The top photo is of me kicking a whip off the bank at Wallenberg, the middle is of Devon Lawson bucking over the bars on this nice 15 stair handrail, and the bottom is of Matt Montoya riding a hang 5 across the bride on our way to the Expo. Just a taste of some of the footage we caught, stay tuned for the actual clips.

SCREEN SHOTS

Here’s a bunch of Screen Shots I pulled from some footage I’ve shot this last month. From top to bottom, we got Mike & Ed rolling around down town San Jose. Next there’s Matt Montoya w/ one of the longest fakie wheelies I’ve ever seen. Forest Parker has those 180 bars on lock and makes throwing em’ over those orange cones look easy. Hang over tooths down handrails are an Ed Wonka specialty, here’s a shot of him serving one up proper. And last but not least, we have Joshua Boothby w/ a truely massive 360 over the handrail, landing into the grass bank. #butteronbutter Keep your eyes peeled for a couple edits coming out this week.

CCP CLASSIC : MIKE SCHMITT

Mikul Eriksson was @ the CCP Classic last weekend, covering the event for iMiNUSD. I wasn’t able to make it out for the event, but from what I’ve seen and heard, there was quite a turn out to support the growing FGFS scene in San Jose. Here’s an unbelievable photo of Mike dropping one hand on a crank arm grind down this double handrail. It looks like he’s surfing more than anything. Photo Credit : Mikul Eriksson

ISAAC’S B&W : IMD COMP 2

Here’s a few of the black & white photos that Isaac Gibbs shot during the iMiNUSD 2nd Year Anniversary trick comp. Breezy Excursion supplied the beats, food trucks, and endless ammounts off swag. Never seen so much gear being tossed out. Isaac did a great job capturing the overall mood of the comp, not to mention Anthony “Wreckless” Combs’ superman. Sticking it back to pedals believe it or not. He had a little bit more extension than that, but it was quite an impressive trick.

SCOTT HORTON : IMD COMP 2

Korusaki caught some great pictures of our boy Scott Horton tearing it up @ the iMiNUSD 2nd Year Anniversary Comp last Sunday. The event drew quite a large crowd and was great way to spend the 10 year anniversary of 911.

TUCK HIGH FIVE

Mikul Eriksson shot this photo of me giving Harv one of the head designers @ Breezy Excursion a high five in mid tuck. Caught this flick after the iMiNUSD 2nd year anniversary trick comp. Mikul will have a video of the comp up in the next couple days or so. Be on the look out.

BOOTHBY @ THE ISLAND

Yesterday Josh Boothby came up to SF to spend some time riding w/ me to finish up filming an edit I’ve been putting together. Here’s a couple pictures of him trying out his new SE 26″ Prototype. The guy has G-turns unlike anybody I’ve ever seen. The top photo is a perfect example of that. Sittin’ comfy in that backwards nose manual.

BRYAN DEMPLER PHOTOGRAPHY

Here’s just a taste of some of the photos that my roommate Bryan Dempler has been shooting since he upgraded to a 7D last week. We’ve been going out on rides around the city w/ our cameras on the daily. Getting some of those iconic city shots, not to mention some pretty killer riding ones in between. He just made a Flickr account today. You can check out more of his photos HERE. Photo Credit : Bryan Dempler
