Jaoa Danaikrit just posted some screen shots from the Wheel Talk in Thailand video he’s gearing up to release. I remember him spending countless hours working on this video in our kitchen while he was staying here in the states. Keep your eyes peeled for this one because there’s never been a FGFS video with this level of production value. After more than 3 months of surfing the couches at our pad in Alameda, Dew Sippawit & Jaoa Danaikrit reluctantly flew back to Thailand last month. We celebrated their final day in the States by kicking back and cutting loose at the local skatepark. A couple of dudes from San Jose drove up the day before to ride and bid the Thai boys a proper farewell. We stacked a ton of footage while they were here, and just got back from a trip to China, so keep your eyes peeled for more of Dew & Jaoa coming in the near future. Mike Schmitt & I have lived under the same roof for a while now, and have been stacking a ton of footage during that time. It makes it easy to film having somebody else who rides living one room away. Here’s some long angle shots I took in between filming clips across the East Bay. That’s our dude Jaoa Danaikrit crouched on the steps like a ninja with a camera in his hands. It was good having the Thai dudes in town with a second camera so we could shoot multiple angles on our weekly excursions. Keep your eyes peeled for the clips to accompany these photos.
Feared by both pigeons and pedestrians alike, Alex Gonzalez has a style unlike anybody else and rips around like a bat out of hell. Here’s a bunch of screenshots I pulled from when he came to film in San Francisco last weekend. This was the first opportunity I’ve had to shoot something track related since 2010 and had almost forgot how hectic bombing hills in the city can be. We’ve been gearing up for the release of Word Is Bond for quite some time now and have never generated this type of hype for a free online video before. Usually the only videos that have premiere’s are DVD’s, but considering the amount of time we spent making this monumental video, we decided to make an exception. As promised here’s some more screen shots from The upcoming Turf Bikes Video, “Word Is Bond”. Ed “Wonka” LaForte’s section is sure to impress considering there’s few people who are willing and able to try some of the tricks Ed does. Christian Hamrick collected clips for the Turf Bikes “Word Is Bond” Video while he was on the Coast to Ghost Trip and during a short visit he made to the West Coast. Hambone is currently living in Kansas City, a place which I’m told has unreal street spots. We might just have to make a trip out there to investigate these so called spots. If you live near San Jose, come out to the premiere being held at iMiNUSD on Saturday April 12th. We’re going to meet up and ride earlier during the day and then head to ID doors open at 7:30. Tonight we’re premiering “Word Is Bond” in San Francisco. If you live in the area you should come out to Lower Branch at 8pm & kick it with the rest of the Fixed Freestyle scene here in the Bay.
