MATT REYES + SPECIALIZED

I’ve been riding for Specialized Bikes for a little more than a year now, and in that time I’ve watched Fixed Freestyle progress to a point which I never thought it would reach. The line between BMX + Fixed Freestyle is quickly fading, as we continue to push both ourselves and what we consider to be the standards for a FGFS Frame. The rest of the guys from Wheel Talk and I have been helping Specialized develop the PFIX since the days of the 1st prototype. We’ve put a lot into this bike, and plan on continuing to improve upon it. Fixed Freestyle has come a long way since the days of pole jams, I can’t wait to see where we take it from here.

JAKOB SANTOS + IMINUSD

iMiNUSD just posted this photo that I took of Jakob Santos while he was in San Jose a while back. I miss having Jake around, he’s a hoot and a holler to say the least. This quote says it all “Don’t let his macho man hairstyle and tattoos fool you, he’s one of the most humble dudes you’ll ever meet.”

TOREY THORNTON + BB17

I slapped together this BB17 Ad for Torey Thornton using a photo I took of him when we rode around the City in search of spots in the rain a few weeks back. Torey sure does man handle that big bike around, rolling right over cars and anything else in his way w/ those monster truck wheels.

MATT REYES + SADIO

Mike Schmitt took this photo of me riding one of the abandoned military bunkers lining the coast of San Francisco. I’ve been riding SADIO parts + components for nearly a year now, and I’m still on all the same parts I started with. The guys out there in Thailand are all homies, and the SADIO Team is one of the best in the business. They’ve got a whole new line up of light products coming out in Spring. Keep your eyes out for that and much more coming out from them in the near future.

IMINUSD | MATT REYES

Found this advertisement on iMiNUSD’s Blog this morning, here’s what they had to say. “Our boy JeffyD caught this photo of IMD Rider Matt Reyes ripping through this dirt berm at Calabazas a while back. We never used it for anything, so we decided to chop it up into this little ad. These guys sure do love dirt.” Credit : Jeff Dempler

IMINUSD | ED WONKA

I made this Advertisement for iMiNUSD, of their boy Ed Wonka scoping out Hollywood High’s 12 stair handrail. While most people consider us to be, criminals, miscreants, and scoundrels, I like to think of us as architecture enthusiasts. We’re just here to admire, and make use of these beautiful architectural designs.
