Today I did some digging though our archives and came across this post that was put together but never published. I figured there’s no time like the present, and that we better get this out there before we enter into the new year. A while back Jeff Dempler made it down to Venice Beach, in Southern California for the 2013 Summer Fix. He spent most of his time behind the camera capturing most of the madness that went down that weekend. Jakob Santos blew everyone away with the huge wallrides he was blasting out of the quarter pipe against the handball court. Elliott Milner destroyed the flat rail, Joe Mckeag clicked some dialed tabletops, and our dude Valentin Racho threw barspins over just about every obstacle there. A few weeks ago JeffyD, Mikul Eriksson and his crew made it up to SF to meet up with Matt Reyes and make use of the Canon C100 they rented. The day was full of fast tricks and faster riding all over the city, with a lot of commuting footage with some tricks mixed in. Above is a photo of Matt blasting a curb cut over the fire hydrant. Jeff Dempler recently hooked up with the guys at Kali Protectives down in Morgan Hill, and got some riding in at their new backyard compound. Photographer Phillip Ritti was there to capture some of the action and sent over this sweet shot of Jeff hitting a table top off one of their ladder drops. Destroy Bikes & Wheel Talk welcome Valentin Racho to the Team. Jeff Dempler has been filiming w/ 16 year old Valentin in San Jose for the past few months. He’s been progressing like crazy in front of the camera and is as consistent as the sun. He’ll throw 180 bars blindfolded and will try whatever you tell him without question.
Alex Blanco got picked up by BreakBrake17 + Spike parts in the beginning of this year. iMiNUSD made this video so he could show off his new 2012 charmer. It’s about time Alex got picked up by a bike company, he’s been riding busted ass whips for as long as I can remember. Can’t wait to see what he does from here.
