I’ve been mobbing around on the 2016 DASH for more than a month now and haven’t changed a thing about it. Eventually I’ll beef up the gearing and toss on some pegs but for now it has everything I need to let loose and have a good time. I’m really feeling the new color combo and gum Helix V2 Tires which photograph incredibly. Far too often an all black bike gets lost in the background and makes it difficult to depict what’s happening, but that’s a problem of the past because these tires pop off hard. Huge shout out to BOMBTRACK Bicycle Co for continuing to produce top of the line products that have surpassed every FGFS bike I’ve ever ridden.

PREMIER FITS + MATT & DEVON

As we gear up for the new year, we figured we’d spread a little holiday cheer and release the latest Wheel Talk production we’ve been working on. Devon Lawson & I (Matt Reyes) have been in cahoots with the dudes from Premier Fits for a while now and are just now unveiling our welcome to the team video. Major thanks to PF for lacing us up some sweet headwear and shout out to Anthony Combs for coming through with a quick cameo on the opening clip. MATT REYES + WHEEL TALK 2013

Big thanks to everyone who helped me film this, there’s too many names to list, but you know who you are. If you both ride and film then I’m sure you know how hard it is to catch clips when you’re behind the lens all the time. Filmed during the course of 2013 in both San Francisco and New York. After riding on both ends of the US I’ve come to the conclusion that the West Coast needs more cellar doors. They were by far my favorite bit of riding street in NY. To add to that last thought, NY needs more hills because that’s where some of the best spots hide. It’s already been a good year for Fixed Freestyle, and I have a feeling it’s only going to get better. (more…)

YNOT GULPER

Scott came up on this handmade YNOT Gulper Bag from Ed, as a sort of hand me down now that he’s on CHROME. Here’s a couple shots of Scott sporting that black & yellow as we packed up and moved on to another spot in Golden Gate Park. The bag isn’t available on their web store yet, but definitely keep your eyes peeled for more of Tom Mosher’s custom creations.
