OSCAR KAHN | SAN JOSE

Oscar Kahn recently showed up in San Jose without warning for the Red Bull Ride + Style competition at the end of the month. I spent some time on Saturday riding w/ the man from across the pond. Oscar has one of the best personalities in Fixed Freestyle. He’s a bloody fucking riot to say the least, and is always doing something ridiculous. be on the look out for more of Oscar riding California in the months to come.

CARDIEL X CHROME PARTY

I filmed this video of the Cardiel x Chrome release party, at their store front in SF. With the shop stacked full of people, beer, and good music everyone let loose + chopped it up on the dance floor. Even the guys from Fish N’ Chips made an appearance to teach us Americans some new dance moves. This had to be the craziest Chrome party I’ve ever been to, and most certainly not the last.

SADIO BOOSTER FORK

I took this picture of Jonah Kessel’s SADIO Booster Fork, while he was up here in the city a few weeks ago. The Booster Fork is probably one of my favorite parts from SADIO, and is available in Optimus Prime colors. (420ac, 430ac) This Spring, they’ll have an entire line up of Light products. I don’t know how they can make this fork any lighter than it already is. Especially when it is one of the lightest forks on the market.

IMINUSD RIDES SF 2012

Jeff Dempler & myself teamed up to film this day edit for iMiNUSD in San Francisco last weekend. This video barely even shows the amount of security we deal with on the daily. It’s a shame I have to feel so sketchy doing something I love. Everywhere we go it’s a game of “who’s got clips here right quick?” Despite that we still managed to stack up quite a few clips for just a day’s worth of filming. Thanks to The Team

SCOTT HORTON | SUMMER TIME

With Summer on the horizon, there is only one thing on my mind, riding. I plan on making full use of this prime time to kick it w/ the guys and soak up as much vitamin D as I possibly can. Here’s a photo that I found floating around the archives of Scott Horton practicing his barspins at sunset.

JONAH KESSEL + SADIO

Sadio Bikes welcomes Jonah Kessel as the newest member to the AM Team. Kessel came up to San Francisco to film this edit with me over spring break. We spent 2 days filming in SF, and another day hanging out + riding in SJ, with the natives. The kid has some mad style for only being 14 years old. It’s young kids like this that are going to keep this sport alive and well.

ED WONKA | ROCKETMAN

iMiNUSD posted this photo I took of Ed Wonka checking out this shitty little aluminum handrail, while he was filming with me in SF. The moment he went for it, it kicked him over the bars and sent him flying like a rocket man 10+ feet out. That’s why you don’t mess with aluminum hand rails.

SCOTT HORTON | LATE NIGHT

Here’s an old photo of Scott Horton that I found lying around collecting digital dust. I miss mobbing around the city at night with the boys. Less tourists, less security, and most importantly less time spent worried about getting the boot at all the spots that are on lock down during the day.

MATT REYES | FEEBLE TUCK

It’s always a shame to see a spot go, and the ledges on Gough and McCoppin is a spot that will be greatly missed, by both the bike and skate communities alike. Jeffrey Munoz caught this photo of me as I learned feeble tuck no handers, just a few days before the capped the shit out of em’. It brings a tear to my eye that someone would ruin such a beautiful thing.

JONAH KESSEL | WALLRIDE

Took this shot of Jonah Kessel riding the banked walls out front of the Federal Building in SF. Their pathetic use of skate stops lining the wall don’t really do much other than make it more interesting. Next time, save your government money and just let us ride.
