MATT REYES | SF SKATEPARK

Living in San Francisco, I rarely get the chance to ride transitions. It’s street or nothing. So last week when we were riding by Potrero Skate Park in the Mission, I had to make a stop and ride it. At a place like this, the best thing to do is just drop your bag and start riding, before the locals get a chance to start shouting shit. They usually quiet down once they see you can hold your own. TOREY THORNTON + BB17

I slapped together this BB17 Ad for Torey Thornton using a photo I took of him when we rode around the City in search of spots in the rain a few weeks back. Torey sure does man handle that big bike around, rolling right over cars and anything else in his way w/ those monster truck wheels.

JONAH KESSEL | SAN JOSE

Here’s a shot of young Jonah Kessel riding one of the benches out front of iMiNUSD in down town San Jose. He picked up bench stalls earlier that day and stuck a couple for the camera just as the sun was going down. Looking good in that Wheel Talk Tee.

JOSH BOOTHBY | SHINING

Snapped this shot of everyone’s favorite Joshua Boothby when he spent the day in the city a while back. We rode this skinny downhill just long enough to catch some clips and this photo before taking off. When I rolled up to the spot later that week, I was sad to find that they had capped the entire length of the ledge making it nearly impossible to ride. City planning sure knows how to kill a good time. Fun Police.

SADIO VIPER RIMS

Here’s a look at Jonah Kessel’s fresh set of SADIO Viper Rims (32mm). I took this while he was staying in San Francisco last weekend to spend some time filming with me. I love rims that are drilled offset and have eyelets for added strength. The last thing I want is spokes pulling through, and volcanoing the rim.

MATT REYES’ PFIX

Here’s a look at my current Specialized PFIX build. I just recently got on the production model PFIX after riding the same prototype frame for 9+ months. I decided to rattle can this one something special since I’ve been riding a nearly colorless set up for what feels like years now. It’s hard to tell who’s who when everyone’s bike is murdered out.

MATT REYES | CHAIN HOP

Matt Rice popped off this photo of me hopping over this chain to bank when we went to Oakland to ride some uncharted street spots. Taken a while back, I completely forgot about this until I saw he posted it earlier today. Looks bigger than I remember.

JONAH KESSEL IN SF

Jonnah Kessel came up to SF to spend some time filming with me this weekend. He got into town yesterday afternoon and will be here until Sunday. Keep your eyes peeled for some big things coming form this little kid.

MATT REYES + SADIO

Mike Schmitt took this photo of me riding one of the abandoned military bunkers lining the coast of San Francisco. I’ve been riding SADIO parts + components for nearly a year now, and I’m still on all the same parts I started with. The guys out there in Thailand are all homies, and the SADIO Team is one of the best in the business. They’ve got a whole new line up of light products coming out in Spring. Keep your eyes out for that and much more coming out from them in the near future.

STOCKTON IN SJ

The dudes from Stockton came out to SJ and rode around with us this last weekend. Tommy Mao caught this double peg just before we called it a day. I love how in the shot of Alex Nunez you can see security calling the cops and kicking us out.
